Everything was exceptional and all our guests remarked upon the fabulous food, wine, service and of course the location and views. If you did have a hand in the weather, thank you for that as well. The team were never intrusive but always on hand.

We are very torn ,as I guess you all are, with wanting to tell everyone what a super place Waiheke and the Mudbrick is and wanting to keep it a secret for ourselves.

Whilst arranging a wedding half a world away should be stressful, it never was because of your easy to follow recommendations, tips and clear and easy booking process, we would recommend it to anyone.

I know we will be back to visit in the near future and look forward to seeing you all again.

My partner and I came to Mudbrick for the first time this weekend. We had a fantastic long lunch and found the quality of food and wine to be world class. Everything was delicious but what really made our day was Becky, our waitress. Her professionalism and warmth shone through and we were so impressed by how helpful, attentive and informative she was. Everyone in your team that day was friendly and clearly on top of things but we will always remember Becky for her extra care and attention. A good team is hard to find but it looks like you have done it well at Mudbrick.

Dear Karen:
My wife (Sally) and I were on vacation from Canada and visited Waiheke Island in early April. We had the pleasure of having lunch at The Mudbrick Restaurant. It was absolutely the most enjoyable and best meal we had during our entire three week stay in New Zealand. What made the experience so memorable was, in no particular order: the setting (the vineyards), the ambiance, the staff with their excellent service and finally the food.

Sally had the Paua Sashimi as the Main course by doubling up on its entree size as per the servers suggestion and I had the Spring Lamb Loin. As already stated, both meals were enjoyed to the maximum as they were both excellent, the presentation, the quality and the staff service that always has to be attached to make it all possible! We were especially excited to see Paua on the menu but it went a step further seeing it was served in the Sashimi style. One of the things we looked forward to on the trip was to have fresh Paua / Abalone and this was certainly the freshest way. Our only regret was we did not take a photograph of our lunch selections before they were as devoured.

Therefore, I am requesting a special favour: The next time the Paua Sashimi and Sprig Lamb Loin are served, I would sincerely appreciate if one of your staff can take a photograph of each dish and forward it to enable me to add them to our holiday photos. I took numerous photos of the grounds, surrounding scenery and the restaurant but missing the most memorable part, the food!
