Cusine Top 10 NZ Merlot for Mudbrick

We were delighted to discover that The 2004 Mudbrick Shepherds Point Merlot was chosen for the prestigious "top 10" in Cuisine magazine's September 06 NZ Reds Tasting in the Merlot category. This is a fiercely competed category, and an excellent result for Mudbrick.

Cuisine wine editor Michael Cooper described the wine as "Dark and firm, this richly flavoured Waiheke Island red is grown at Onetangi. Highly fragrant, it is savoury and spicy, with hints of earth and tobacco. French oak adds complexity, depth and structure for cellaring."
