Take your Birds out to dinner
Game hunting season is upon us! From the 3rd of May to the 28th of June, Mudbrick chefs are talking on the challange of transforming your gamebirds into specially crafted gourmet dishes. They will be joined by 25 other leading New Zeland restaurants such as Bracu, Logan Brown and Craggy Range for the fourth annuel Gamebird Food Festival, which stretches from Whangarai to Southland.
The Festival is designed to allow hunters and their friends to be inspired by the chef's creations and make the most out of their catch.
How it works: Hunters can make a booking with the restaurant, and deliver the bird 24 - 48 hours before the meal. This allows the chefs time to properly prepare the the dish for you and your guests.
